Sichuan Agricultural University offers international students’ apartment with well-equipment facilities. There is a bathroom, broadband internet access, furniture for each room in the student apartment. Air-conditioners, refrigerator and microwave oven are installed in some of the rooms. There are also water boilers, laundry services and public showers in the apartment. For each room, there is a fixed amount of free water and electricity, and the extra amount will be paid by students themselves.

Bachelor Taught in English : 

International students can learn Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degree course in English medium and short-term Chinese language and culture programs at Sichuan Agricultural University. School of international education in Sichuan Agricultural University is responsible for the affair of admission, registration and others for international students. 

Sichuan Agricultural University offers several canteens for international students for meal, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. So eating at canteens makes you can taste different food in many places of China without coming to these places. All these canteens provide lavish dishes to cater for taste of international students. International students also can cook by themselves on public kitchen on foreign students’ apartment. Around the campus, many restaurants and fast food restaurants are also available for international students. 

1. I really want to study at your University, but I can’t speak Chinese, can I be instructed in English?

Answer: The programs are fully English medium programs.

2.How is the living standard in Chengdu city? What about the canteen in the University?

Answer: Living in Chengdu is much cheaper than in Beijing or Shanghai, for example, about 150 USD for your food per month. There are plenty of options on campus canteens for international students. 

3. How can I arrive in Chengdu city, the location of University?

Answer: There are many direct flights from all over the world to Chengdu.

4.Can you send a vehicle to take us from the local airport to the University?

Answer: Sichuan Agricultural University can provide Airport Pick-up to international students in group from the airport – Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport to the campus. It takes around 50 minutes from the airport to campus. But students should send detailed departure schedule to our university’s representative minimum 7 days in advance so that we can pick up without any delay. Airport Pick-up Service is only available on duty hours in Registration time.

5. How can I exchange some Chinese currency for my pocket money when I just arrived in China?

Answer: Students can exchange some Chinese currency in bank for shuttle/bus ticket fare and pocket money in big international airport when they arrive in China. And students can buy telephone card from business counter in the airport to give international call and domestic call if students need.

6. How about the transportation, telecom and internet in Chengdu City? 

Answer: There is 1 airport, 3 train stations and many buses to most cities in China and many foreign cities. There are convenient public facilities for telecom and internet, you can buy telecom card to call in any time. There is internet access in international students’ dormitories and they just need to pay the fees according to their use. There are also lots of internet pubs for going on internet.

Answer: Chengdu has a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate and is largely mild and humid. It has four distinct seasons, with moderate rainfall concentrated mainly in the warmer months, and relieved from both sweltering summers and freezing winters. Annual average temperature is 15.7 °C (60.3°F).
