The admission process at Kunming Medical University (KMU) is straightforward and well-organized for international students who want to study medicine in China. Applicants must first select their desired program, such as the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), and review the eligibility requirements. Candidates should have finished high school with good grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, be at least 17 years old, and be in good health.

Since the program is taught in English, applicants need to show proof of language proficiency through IELTS (6.0), TOEFL (80), or a valid English-medium certificate. Required documents include the application form, passport copy, academic transcripts, graduation certificate, medical report, police clearance, and English language certificate. All these documents must be submitted online or through an authorized representative before the June–July deadline for the September intake.
