The Clinical Medicine major at Jinzhou Medical University (JZMU) offers a comprehensive six-year MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) program designed for aspiring medical professionals. Program Structure:

• Duration: 6 years

The curriculum is divided into three phases, focusing on foundational sciences, clinical medicine, and hands-on practice:

1. Basic Medical Sciences (Years 1-2): During the first two years, students study foundational courses essential for a career in medicine, including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Immunology, and Medical Ethics. These courses provide the fundamental knowledge required to understand the human body, disease mechanisms, and treatment principles.
2. Clinical Medicine (Years 3-4): In the third and fourth years, students advance to clinical subjects, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, and other specialties. This phase also emphasizes developing diagnostic and treatment skills through simulated practice in a classroom and laboratory setting.
3. Clinical Practice (Years 5-6): The final two years are dedicated to clinical rotations, where students gain hands-on experience in JZMU’s affiliated hospitals. Here, students work in various departments under supervision, applying theoretical knowledge to real-life scenarios. These rotations cover diverse medical fields, such as Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics, and more.

N.B:  Aged 18 to 30 under 18 shall submit a guarantee letter from students’ guardians in China when applying.

Note: Each international student can receive a maximum of two types of individual scholarships within the same academic year.

Interview & Examination: Applicants for the Undergraduate program of Clinical Medicine(taught in English) are required to participate in the entrance examination organized by the university.
